Ready for launch!!

Ok, I know I probably screwed someone over but I bought a copy anyway from 7-Eleven. I have everything installed and my account is upgraded. All I need now is for Blizzard to flip the WotLK switch and while you guys are standing in a line at midnight I will be enjoying the peacefull server in hopes of having a few hours to be able to get some starter quests done so I dont have to fight with everyone and get lag bombed. till then ……

UPDATE: How clever of wowinsider to post an identical story to this one almost 24 hours after I posted this. A shame these guys cant think for themselves and stop stealing all their ideas from everyone around them. Pathetic.

Brain Freeze

After going to 3 different 7-Eleven stores that are close to my house i spoke with an employee tonight about WotLK. 2 stores had no copies. 1 store had a dozen. I asked her about this and she told me that 7-Eleven only receives a copy of the game once its pre-ordered and told to be sent to that particular store.

So everyone that is going to get these games early are actually taking the game from someone that pre-ordered it and the employees are not aware the game is still not officially released yet. She showed me a graph that mistakenly shows the game was officially released on “nov 3rd”

There are going to be alot of pissed off people come midnight. If you pre-ordered from 7-Eleven have a backup plan in case your copy was sold.

Out of courtesy I forwarded this info to WI. Im sure It will be ignored and they will take credit for it.

I like how you banned totalbiscuit’s account from posting on wowinsider. Just like you have done with me and several other people that speak freely with their opinions. Someone is creating drama, Mike or whomever it is. Honestly the huge schramm track record of foot in the mouth mis-statements goes right in line with this. I could care less about the situation though.

What concerns me is I too cant post anymore and get a false “successful” message for several weeks. I’m curious how AOL will respond to discrimination claims. WebLogs Inc, terms of service explicitly state that people must be notified if they are being disciplined. Your parent company has a legal obligation. This should be interesting to see WI come crashing down (yea right). Stop being such a pussy mike and just deal with the negative. Better yet, Stop being wrong all the time and do a little research or just think before you speak and you would avoid lots of problems like the one you created here.

And fyi. Turpster is 5000 times more popular than you mike. You just signed the death warrant for the WI show lol. As for me. I don’t really visit as much as I used too. why? For starters your site is just too carebear and provides no content outside of Whitcombs work.

Update: I created a script that sets a new yahoo email account in 10 seconds whenever i post on wowinsider. so he can ban all the email address he wants. i just make one click and i have a random named new acct that auto replies to the WI post. all i have to do is enter the captcha. again. fuck you schram!!

oh and nice redesign on WI. ive actually seen that template you modified before but nice try with the “design team” bit.

ok, so I can only spend so much time complaining. Its just not worth the time. the stupid will remain stupid. and me, well i have better shit to do with my time. untill the next time i get that wild hair up my ass to go another round…

Wowinsider wanted to answer questions about the beta here.

However they failed miserably and almost every question has been answered in the comments by beta players allready. The few questions that have not been answered Im going to answer now just so they have no material to write about :)

Their kinda being fucking pricks about having access to the beta and its annoying a whole bunch of people.

Well about 6 people answered this question incorrectly by quoting 60-70 leveling time has decreased. which is true but not the fucking question. run for office somewhere because poloticians also answer specific questions by pretending it was a different question.

the actual answer is, none. its roughly the same as when i leveled from 60-70. about a level a day.

No, with the various changes to how the mana,energy, rage are utilized, being a druid does not feel much different. in fact I would have to say a bit slower. however the scaling of gear does make your damage fatter even in greens.

with the current cap at 77 its hard to answer this. however i cant think of many times that it has been resisted compared to BC. when these things were merged blizz did alot in the backend mechanics to keep most things responding like wee are used to.

Calandar and pet storage active next build

New Calendar feature: Players will be able to access the new Calendar feature by clicking on the new icon located in the top right corner of their mini map. The calendar will track in game events, allow raid scheduling, and more.
New Vanity Pet and Mount changes: Players will now be able to access their non-combat pets and mounts by clicking on the pets tab in the Character Info panel. These pets and mounts will be now learnable much like spells or abilities. Once a vanity pet or mount is learned, the icon will disappear from within a player’s inventory and reappear in the appropriate tab under the pet tab under Character Info. Say goodbye to your vanity pets and mounts taking up bag and bank slots!
